The Darwin Convention Centre is set to welcome back international business events to its world-class venue this month with the IFCO2022 International Foster Care Conference scheduled for 23-25 September. Over 600 delegates are expected to attend with 84% of registered attendees travelling to Darwin from overseas and interstate.

Funding Now Available for Business Events – Apply Now For Accelerate Funding Round 3. The NSW Government is offering to fund up to $60,000 per business event held in 2023 in Greater Sydney, Newcastle or Wollongong and applications are now open as part of the third round of the Accelerate Fund.
What’s New at PCEC – In January we were delighted to announce that Andrew Mann joined the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC) as Director of Culinary Operations. Ivan Granados joined us in July as our new Food and Beverage Manager. In April we welcomed Ramon Van De Griendt as our new Executive Chef.
The Darwin Convention Centre has become the latest AIPC member centre to achieve AIPC Quality Standards certification with the successful completion of their audit by the designated external auditor. They join a group of 30 AIPC centres who have now successfully achieved this international certification, with a number of additional centres in various stages of the certification process.
