The Star Brisbane

Since commencing its multi-staged phased opening in late August 2024, The Star Brisbane has opened an array of new cultural, culinary and entertainment hotspots that have captivated the imaginations of locals and tourists alike, as the impressive resort stands tall as a masterwork nearly a decade in the making and the centrepiece of Brisbane’s $3.6 billion Queen’s Wharf precinct.

The Star Brisbane’s signature five-star hotel, The Star Grand, has quickly become the city’s most sought-after destination, featuring 340 luxurious rooms – including 60 suites and four ultra-luxe Skyline Penthouse Suites. Nearby, the Event Centre heralds a thrilling new era for events in Queensland. Purpose designed to host events of every scale, the Event Centre is home to Brisbane’s largest hotel ballroom with the capacity to host up to 2,000 guests and is complemented by a variety of venues across the resort and broader precinct.

Soaring 100 metres above the Brisbane River, the seemingly suspended Sky Deck on Level 23 has cemented itself as a Brisbane bucket list experience, with open-air bar, Cicada Blu, all-day dining venue, Babblers and fine dining restaurant, Aloria now open on the 250-metre-long rooftop.

Further elevating Brisbane’s dynamic, ever-expanding culinary scene, The Star Brisbane is also home to an enviable selection of globally inspired restaurants, including Celebrity chef Luke Nguyen’s celebrated Fat Noodle and renowned Japanese restaurant Sokyo, alongside seven new venues from Brisbane’s largest hospitality groups now open on The Terrace on Level 4.

As The Star Brisbane’s phased opening continues, the resort delivers new surprises with every visit and something new always on the horizon. Upon completion, Queen’s Wharf Brisbane is expected to draw an additional 1.4 million visitors annually to the river city.
