Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre Celebrates Double Industry Award Win
Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC) is celebrating double recognition this week, taking home Conference and Function Venue of the Year at the 2025 AHA & Coca-Cola Hospitality Awards for Excellence, alongside a Silver Medal in the Business Event Venue category at the 2025 Perth Airport Tourism Awards.
The awards recognise PCEC’s continued excellence in delivering world-class events and its significant contribution to Western Australia’s tourism economy and business events industry.
PCEC’s General Manager, Kendra Naidoo, said the back-to-back accolades were a testament to the people behind the venue.
“These awards are a reflection of our people, the team who make the extraordinary happen every day,” she said. “We’re more than just a venue; we’re a community of passionate professionals who welcome guests into our home and create moments that leave a lasting impact.”
PCEC continues to showcase its strength through the quality of events delivered each day.

PCEC was also recognised as a finalist in the Training Initiative Award at the AHA Awards, highlighting the venue’s ongoing investment in developing its people and fostering a culture of growth and learning.
In addition, Bree Smith, PCEC’s Operations Manager, was named a finalist in the Individual Award for Excellence in Service, an achievement that acknowledges her dedication, professionalism, and commitment to delivering exceptional visitor experiences.
PCEC Senior Marketing Manager, Liz De Prose, said the recognition across multiple categories reinforces the strength of the entire PCEC team and the values that drive them.

PCEC has consistently been recognised as one of Western Australia’s leading business event venues, with multiple state awards acknowledging the team’s excellence in hospitality and contribution to tourism, including the recent win as Corporate Venue Caterer at the Catering Institute of Australia’s Gold Plate Awards.
