New CEO of ICC Sydney
It is a great honour to be writing to you today as the new CEO of ICC Sydney, having played a role in shaping the business and its operations as General Manager over the last decade.
I’m delighted to also share that Beverley Parker has been appointed as Deputy CEO and will retain her position as Director of Business Development. ICC Sydney’s experienced executive team, who you will all be familiar with, remains in place and is here to support your continued event success.
Together with you, we have achieved extraordinary success during this time, from three years of pre-opening activity to our first seven years of operation, building a passionate, globally respected team that is laser focused on collaborating with you to create extraordinary outcomes. We truly believe that your success is our success.
We continue to strive to be More than a Venue with every event. We plan meticulously, but also think on our feet and are creative with our solutions to constantly innovate and improve our processes to ensure extraordinary customer experiences.
Between December 2016 and December 2023, together we have delivered 3,665 events, caring for the 6.4 million event attendees that arrived through our doors. Not only have we had a positive impact on the experience of all of those that we engaged here in the venue, but we are also proud to have made a contribution to the community around us.
From our Legacy Program, which provides opportunities for talent across our First Nations, Creative Industries, and Tech and Innovation communities through sustainable, inclusive and accessible events, to our operational spend across New South Wales, we join event organisers and visitors in Making a Difference, as event attendees spent A$4 billion in the local economy during the period.
We now enter another exciting chapter in the story of ICC Sydney. Our focus on people and a strong culture, managing risk and CSR remain the core pillars of our business.
As we look to the future, our focus on data insights and embracing the changes in technology will be balanced with the changing expectations of event attendees and organisers.
As well as an incubator for ideas, we remain committed to continuing to trial and experiment with local and industry technology and solutions through the global platform of ICC Sydney.
I am excited for the journey ahead and welcome the opportunity to meet in person over the coming weeks to hear your thoughts on the future success of our industry.

Yours sincerely,
