Mark Day to leave business events industry after a decade with Geelong Bureau

Two organisations are looking for leadership replacements after Mark Day announced this week via social media that he was leaving the business events industry. Day, who has been with Business Events Geelong for 10 years as its Business Events Manager, will leave for a career change in the real estate industry in a few weeks.

He wrote on LinkedIn that he felt “privileged to represent such a beautiful region, its amazing product and a collective tourism industry that supports the work we do in bringing more visitors into our region”.

For a number of years, he has also been chair of Business Events Victoria.

Graeme Kemlo said, “Adding my two cents, having watched Day over the past 10 years, he was a rising talent in the industry and a great advocate for Geelong and regional Victoria.”

The PCO Association wishes our business partner, Mark Day, Business Events Geelong every success and happiness for his next adventure.  We will miss your contribution to the business events industry.

All the best for your continued success.
