More trans-Tasman flights an opportunity for business events

Soon to be connected destinations in New Zealand are hoping for a business events boost.
In addition to the Gold Coast becoming Australia’s most connected city to New Zealand, with the launch of flights between the Gold Coast and both Hamilton and Dunedin from mid-next year, Jetstar will fly four flights a week between Sydney and Hamilton from mid-2025.

Te Pae Christchurch receives global boost

The Australian general manager of New Zealand’s first next-generation convention centre has just put his venue in the global spotlight. Te Pae Christchurch GM, Ross Steele has just been appointed to the board of the International Association of Convention Centres (AIPC), which will bring new visibility to both his venue and New Zealand’s strengthening appeal for international conventions.
