Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre (BCEC) is Open for Business

We are pleased to share with you that BCEC is open for business. Following the official reopening of the Centre by the Queensland Treasurer, the Hon. Cameron Dick, we have since hosted our first events to great acclaim from our clients, with everyone having a good time in a well-managed safe environment.

We are now busy working on our upcoming events and continuing to adapt to the challenges and opportunities that COVID-19 brings for us as well as for you, our clients.

BCEC has introduced new event protocols to safeguard the health and wellbeing of all our stakeholders – clients, visitors, staff and suppliers – and I’m pleased to share with you our BCEC Safe Event Guideline. It has been developed in consultation with government and health authorities, covers all areas of the Centre’s operation and is underpinned by the overarching pillars of hygiene, health and safety.

The Guideline is integrated with VenueShield, a new environmental hygiene protocol developed by BCEC’s parent group, ASM Global and rolled out at 325 venues worldwide. VenueShield provides the most advanced hygiene measures and exceeds current regulations.

BCEC remains the best in the business in Brisbane, and with over 25 years of experience our committed team of event planning, technical and creative professionals are ready to guide you through every step of holding a safe and successful event.

We are also proud that BCEC can offer all the technology and services in-house to deliver all aspects of your hybrid or virtual event. We’ll share more with you on that in coming weeks.

For now, we are thrilled to be back doing what we do best and I encourage you to reach out to the team via email or by completing our Event Enquiry Form here
