19 December 2024 Gold Coast, Queensland Nick Jeffrey has been appointed to the role of General Manager, Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre (GCCEC).

The appointment comes after recognising the outstanding contributions Nick has made in his role as Acting General Manager. Over the past five months, he has been instrumental in ensuring continued smooth operations of the business, exceptional service delivery and ongoing client satisfaction. Nick has also been responsible for key stakeholder engagement.

Hannah joins Tim Hancock and Mike Pickford at the executive director level. She has been working at ASN Events for more than a decade. “It’s with great satisfaction to announce that Hannah is now an executive director of ASN Events and she joins Tim and I as principals of the company,” said Mike.

The Star Brisbane announces opening date for Queen’s Wharf

The Star Brisbane will officially open the first phase of its $3.6 billion Queen’s Wharf Brisbane precinct on August 29.

The Star Brisbane CEO Daniel Finch said a steady stream of new restaurants, bars, public spaces and destinations will begin opening from late August into September and throughout the remainder of the year.
