Western Australia Secures Two Global Event Wins: Land Forces 2026 and IFSCC Congress 2026
Last week, Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC) was announced as the venue for two major international events, reinforcing Western Australia’s reputation as a world-class destination for business events.
Land Forces 2026, Australia’s largest defence trade event, will be coming to Perth for the first time. The event is expected to attract thousands of national and international delegates, and showcase the very latest in defence technology, innovation and collaboration.
Perth has also won the bid to host the 36th edition of the International Federation of Societies of Cosmetic Chemists (IFSCC) Congress 2026, bringing together some of the brightest minds in cosmetic science from across the globe.
Together, these wins mark a significant achievement for Western Australia, and highlight the strength of collaboration across industry, government, and business events partners.
Kendra Naidoo, General Manager of PCEC said: “These wins are a testament to the incredible teamwork and vision of everyone involved. To see Perth hosting both events is a proud moment that reflects our growing global standing as a destination in innovation. Congratulations to Team WA! As the home of many significant events in Western Australia, PCEC is proud to play a role in welcoming the world to our city. We are excited for the opportunities ahead.”
These landmark events will bring millions into the local economy, create global collaboration opportunities, and position Western Australia and Australia as a leading destination for both defence and scientific innovation.
