THE SECRETS OF SUSTAINABLE HIGH PERFORMANCE

July 29 @ 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm AEST

The Secrets of Sustainable High Performance

Don’t work faster – recharge and recover between event demands to lift performance and prevent burnout

High performance usually isn’t the problem. Most business event professionals can perform at a high level for a period of time. The real challenge is sustaining it – without burnout, cognitive overload or sacrificing wellbeing in the process.

This practical, science-based session explores how event professionals can protect their energy, focus and capacity by working with the brain and body more intelligently – rather than simply pushing harder.

Participants will explore three evidence-based principles for sustainable high performance:

  1. Take a Whole-Person Approach to Performance
Explore the 4-Dimensional Wellbeing Model – mental, emotional, physical and internal wellbeing – and complete a practical wellbeing and energy audit to identify where to recharge first.
  2. Balance Energy Output with Recovery
Work with the brain’s natural rhythms by building recovery and recharge between demands.
  3. Activate Calm – Not Just Stress
Reduce chronic activation and create more moments of calm, clarity and regulation throughout the day.

You will leave with a practical understanding of how to sustain high performance by protecting their energy, improving focus and recovery, and building simple habits that support long-term wellbeing.
