The annual conference for the Professional Conference Organisers Association (PCOA), taking place at Queen’s Wharf in Brisbane from Sunday, is set to be the association’s largest ever meeting.
Event professionals are in for a transformative experience at PCOA24, with two standout sessions designed to help business owners, senior leaders, and aspiring PCOs grow, value, and secure their event businesses.
Led by industry experts Dan Londero and Suzy Munt, these sessions will offer actionable strategies for expanding, selling, or planning the future of your business.
How ESG Principles Drive Success and Positive Change in the Meetings & Events Industry
In today’s business landscape, sustainability is no longer just a trend – it’s a necessity. The need to balance environmental responsibility with financial success is pressing, especially in the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) industry. As companies face increasing pressure from clients, stakeholders, and consumers to demonstrate their commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, it’s clear that the future of events is rooted in purpose.
Diversity and inclusion aren’t just policies—they are key to unlocking growth, innovation, and engagement in today’s business and events landscapes. For event managers, PCOs, and senior leaders, embracing diversity can elevate both the success of your business events and the overall performance of your organisation. But how do you go beyond simply paying lip service to diversity and fully leverage its power?
In this September/October edition of Meeting Newz we focus on Rotorua and Bay of Plenty regions and we learn more about Taupo and Whanganui.
