New CEO announced for BESydney

Following a late-2024 announcement that current BESydney CEO, Lyn Lewis-Smith, would step down in the middle of 2025, Sydney’s business events bidding organisation has announced Amanda Lampe as BESydney’s next head.

MEDIA RELEASE – New General Manager for GCCEC

19 December 2024 Gold Coast, Queensland Nick Jeffrey has been appointed to the role of General Manager, Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre (GCCEC).

The appointment comes after recognising the outstanding contributions Nick has made in his role as Acting General Manager. Over the past five months, he has been instrumental in ensuring continued smooth operations of the business, exceptional service delivery and ongoing client satisfaction. Nick has also been responsible for key stakeholder engagement.

HOW GCCEC TRANSFORMED THE GOLD COAST

The Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, opened in 2004, transformed the city’s event landscape. Now celebrating 20 years, it has hosted 3,612 events, attracting millions and showcasing international talent.

PCOA conference sells out
