In December we at ILA, Adelaide’s Centre of Immersive Light and Art (formerly known as Light ADL) had the honour of welcoming over 400 guests through the doors of our 150 year old heritage building. One venue, 2 floors, 4 event spaces and over 200sqm of LED screens were brought to life for the PCOA 2023 Networking Function.

The Professional Conference Organisers Association (PCOA) has joined the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI). The organisation has chapters in all Australian states and territories and a membership which includes more than 80 associations and some of Australia’s largest and most powerful corporations.
Brisbane’s yet-to-launch $3.6 billion development will host the Professional Conference Organisers Association (PCOA) conference next year. The annual gathering is expected to attract 400 conference organisers in 2024.
The opening of Brisbane’s Queen’s Wharf has been pushed out a few more months. The $3.6 billion waterfront development is now expected to open in August. The announcement came just before Christmas after the Destination Brisbane Consortium behind the project settled Queensland Supreme Court proceedings and an adjudication application lodged with the Queensland Building and Construction Commission, both initiated by the development’s builder Multiplex.
The PCOA made a commitment to reduce the carbon footprint of our PCOA23 speaker and staff flights by offsetting our carbon emissions via Greenfleet.
