It’s a Wrap… 10th Annual PCOA Conference & Exhibition 2017
The PCOA conference and exhibition has just celebrated its 10th birthday by returning to the Gold Coast the city where it all started. The event was held at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre.
This year’s PCO Association Conference was the biggest yet with numbers reaching 440 and the 60 exhibitor booths selling out in June 2017.
The Official Conference on Monday morning began with a powerful opening produced by Platinum Sponsor – International Productions, which included spectacular content displayed on a 27 metre long screen.
This year’s theme of MEETING Beyond Tomorrow provided the perfect backdrop for an event that focused on future opportunities and examined industry growth and development. The conference, addressed the challenges faced by our dynamic industry, and explored the trends and shifts that impact us all.
The program, had two strong sub-themes of Innovation and Engagement, covering topics ranging from the latest technology and what impact it has on conferences to new ways to engage and influence audiences, both digitally and onsite.
There was a common thread through the conference about disruption, design thinking and using technology.
There were plenty of opportunities for attendees to network at the two social functions and meal breaks were taken in the exhibition hall.
We have received nothing but rave reviews from those who attended the action packed networking function held at Sea World and co-hosted by Gold Coast Business Events.
People attended from all over Australia, Asia and New Zealand.
The PCO Association would like to sincerely thank the conference speakers, sponsors and exhibitors who played a major role in making this 10th Anniversary a highly successful, productive and memorable conference.
The Association would also like to thank our business partners, who have continued to provide great support.
The destination and venue for the 11th annual PCO Association conference & exhibition will be announced in early 2018.
