Presenter: Steve Tighe

In times of rapid change, the purpose of strategy is to generate a new and distinct strategic outlook that is fit for the future. In these times, strategy can no longer be looked upon as an obligatory annual custom best performed by senior managers behind closed doors.

Strategic design, the process of generating strategy, is in fact the organisation’s principle creative and learning activity – it sits at the top of the innovation tree.

This presentation will outline how such a process for strategic design is suitable for all organisations in disruptive times of uncertainty.

You will gain:
• A new and original perspective on strategy and innovation design
• An understanding of the 6 pillars of strategic design

Strategy as Resource
Strategy as Future
Strategy as Creativity
Strategy as Collaboration
Strategy as Learning
Strategy as Process

• An understanding of the best methods for generating original insights into the future
• An introduction to scenario planning
• Techniques for re-conceiving your organisation to take advantage of future change and innovation opportunities
